Think of the last product you purchased. If you’re having a hard time remembering any distinguishing design features, then the packaging probably wasn’t memorable enough.
Your product deserves to be remembered. And custom labels and stickers are a fantastic way to create the lasting impression that you want your brand to leave.
Labels and stickers are great way to suit up your product without breaking your bank. Take a look around your office/home/garage/clients’ office and look at the boxes/containers of the products. They all have labels.
Advantages
1. Affordability
“Labels” are a super affordable way to take your product to the next level. You can ensure your product stands out from the host of competitors. They work, just look around you.
2. Versatility
You can even have different styles of labels and stickers for the same product, perhaps a large one that extends across the packaging box and a small one that acts as a seal or closure.
Change your labels/stickers/tags/decals with the changing seasons or promotions, to give your product a fresh look and show your customers that you’re always trying out new things!
Labels and stickers can also keep up with the mixed-use of your product line. If your business offers customers a variety of products under one brand name, then you can get yourself an array of labels to suit each one.
3. Time Hack
Labels and stickers mean a quick turnaround time and a hassle-free experience for your business. Using labels to dress your product can give you more time to spend creating what you love and what you’re so very good at.
Differences
• Labels are die-cut plastics, papers, metals, or other materials that can be affixed to containers or surfaces. Labels carry information, and they may be created specifically for that type of surface. We sort of like these.
• Tags are labels without adhesive. They’re attached by other means, such as tying or hanging. Sometimes an adhesive just won’t work for a specific application. We like these, too.
• Stickers are commodity markers that are mostly used for entertainment purposes. These include things like “I Just Voted” or “My Name Is”. They’re usually paper, not very durable, and made in large quantities, since they are not expensive to produce.
• A decal or transfer is a plastic, cloth, paper or ceramic substrate that has printed on it a pattern or image that can be moved to another surface upon contact, usually with the aid of heat or water.
The two terms, “sticker” and “label” are so similar yet they do have distinct differences.
